As the designer of Purple Brand's first fully customized hat, I ensured every detail was carefully considered—from the interior taping to the precise brim curve. This "never stock, always custom" approach laid the groundwork for the brand's core hat assortment, featuring the most recognizable brand icons and colors. Establishing this foundation was crucial in creating a cohesive line of headwear that became instantly identifiable to the Purple Brand identity. It set a strong base for future expansion into more specialized styles while maintaining the brand's signature look.
Purple Brand's core hat assortment began with 5-panel, 6-panel, and trucker hats, each custom-designed to reflect the brand’s bold identity. From these essential silhouettes, we expanded by integrating signature brand codes like coated denim, Swarovski crystals, and sportswear influences, pushing the styling potential of headwear. Hats quickly became vital for showcasing seasonal colors and graphics, becoming not just accessories but key elements of the brand’s visual storytelling.
