As the lead designer for the men's outlet accessories division, I revitalized our collection by phasing out outdated designs and introducing a vibrant, contemporary aesthetic for our bags, all while staying true to the brand's core values and identity. This innovative approach resulted in each season's assortment exceeding merchandising targets by up to 221%, maintaining exceptionally healthy margins. Consequently, I helped achieve year-over-year growth for mens Outlet accessories that outpaced every other category and division at Michael Kors.

I have developed a wide range of new silhouettes and shapes that cater to diverse needs—business, everyday carrying, sporty, casual, and travel. Each design is an original, crafted to meet specific merchandising targets or as a bold, creative departure from traditional styles. My work blends functionality with trend-based aesthetics, ensuring the bags are versatile and practical while standing out in assortment and competitive market. Whether responding to business strategy or pushing the brands creative boundaries, I always design to deliver on both style and purpose.

I helped guide the outlet division into the trend landscape, carving out a space to engage a younger, trend-focused customer with fresh, fashion-forward designs. By experimenting with new materials, sustainability, playful colors, and novelty treatments, we were able to push creative boundaries while still maintaining a core assortment that supports the business. I helped developed logo-driven prints and patterns across different materials, focusing on strengthening the brand's established codes while exploring new ones. This approach allowed the brand to evolve its identity while maintaining a strong connection to its core values.


SLGS & GIFTING

I introduced several new SLG styles that addressed region-specific and functional needs. Additionally, I launched a range of novelty gifting items, from tech accessories to metal lifestyle goods, which significantly boosted gifting and boxed set sales. The expansion I led in SLGs and gifting enhanced the division’s emotional storytelling, driving both growth and brand engagement.

I designed into new trims and graphic explorations to amplify seasonal logo messages in fresh, innovative ways. By thoughtfully applying these elements, I ensured that each design stayed true to the brand's core identity while offering a modern take on its visual storytelling. This helped elevate the brand’s seasonal messaging without losing its foundational essence.
